Kyle is the family's pet "dog", and by "dog", he's a half-dog, half-piranha. They may not be the nicest (especially towards their sons), but the former is a karate practitioner despite her old age and the latter was renowned supervillain in his life. Gru and Dru's parents, Marlena and Robert. Then, he Took a Level in Badass and was one of the key deciding factors to stop Bratt. Dru starts off as an incompetent villain-wannabe. The Minions, despite their goofiness that often make them look like idiots, are quite brilliant at inventing stuff and, thanks to their Bizarre Alien Biology, are able to provide a variety of helpful talents. Nefario may be old and hard of hearing, but he's Gru's most trusted ally because he's a genius at inventing. Also, like her husband, it's best to not mess with her family. She's a master of four fighting styles and is quite intelligent despite her goofy nature. Lucy is an AVL spy who was able one-up and kidnap Gru when they first met. The girls may not get a lot of action moments in comparison to their other family members, but they have proven to be tougher than they look and helped defeat the Big Bad of Despicable Me 2. And his most of his badass moments come from an enemy threatening his family. He's also a Gadgeteer Genius (since he was eight) who's able to one-punch a shark. Gru was the former number one supervillain before retiring and was recuited by the AVL so he could help them find the Big Bad of Despicable Me 2. The Minions are then arrested and thrown in jail for breaking and entering. Their journey takes them to a studio lot in Hollywood, California, where-after wreaking havoc and drawing the attention of law enforcement-they accidentally wander onto the set of a singing competition show and are forced to perform. Led by Mel (Pierre Coffin), the Minions decide to revolt and make a go of it on their own. With a master who’s no longer a top-secret agent in the AVL-nor interested in going back to his despicable ways-Gru’s banana-loving Minions are left without any super-cool gadgets to test or any mayhem to be had. 
And so, heeding the local legend that “only a maiden pure of heart” can find a unicorn, Agnes sets out to fulfill her lifelong dream. Gru wants to protect his youngest daughter from disappointment, but ultimately doesn’t have the heart to tell her the stories might not be true. Initially enthusiastic to travel to Freedonia to meet her Uncle Dru, her excitement goes through the roof when she hears that real unicorns may inhabit the nearby forest. When she finds out that Gru and Lucy have lost their jobs, she does everything she can to help out her family, even if it means selling her favorite fluffy unicorn at a garage sale. Agnes (Nev Scharrel), Gru’s youngest daughter, is innocent and selfless.
